What can I expect to find in each installment of The Cozy Dispatch?
Get ready to be inspired! Each delivery of The Cozy Dispatch will be filled with practical tips for beautiful living, seasonal recipes, thoughtful ideas, gentle encouragement, as well as simple ideas for home, kitchen and life—all on gorgeous stationary, mailed in beautiful packaging (with the occasional treat inside). Above all, our dispatches are steeped in gentleness (the world is too crazy and chaotic, as it is). Grab a cup of hot tea and your favorite cozy blanket—with each installment, we hope our subscribers rekindle the joy of real mail and enjoy a moment of calm and inspiration. Every issue is meant to be kept, reread, and enjoyed. Tape the pages into your journal or pin them on your kitchen corkboard because you will never find an issue of The Cozy Dispatch online. We ask that our subscribers refrain from posting our letters on the internet to preserve our delightfully secret snail mail club. This is not just content — it’s an experience.
How does it work?
Choose your subscription plan (pay on a monthly basis or subscribe to our annual membership or premium annual membership) and we’ve got you covered! Our dispatches are sent out on the 15th of each month via the United States Postal Service, when our friendly neighborhood postman, Dennis, sends them out to your mailboxes. Please allow 3-10 business days for your dispatch to be delivered. We can’t wait for you to enjoy!
Who writes The Cozy Dispatch?
‘Tis me—yours truly, Sarah Jio! I’m a veteran journalist and New York Times and #1 bestselling author of 12 novels published in 35+ countries. Beyond my writing career, I’m a wife, mother, daughter, auntie, sister, friend-to-many, cook, gardener, and ultimately an observer of beauty, nature and life. While we’ll have special guests join in to compliment our editions on occasion, most of the content is written, curated and prepared by me.
What if I live outside of the United States? Can I still subscribe to The Cozy Dispatch?
Yes! We love our international readers! Just be sure to select the “international subscription plan” and expect a slightly longer delivery time to receive your monthly dispatches.

Yes! A one-year subscription is a darling gift for anyone in your life who needs encouragement, and with your giftee’s first installment, we’ll include a hand-written gift message from you (just be sure to add any special instructions during checkout)!
What if I don’t receive one of my monthly dispatches?
While we don’t have to deal with Spam folders here, lost mail does happen, and we’re happy to make it right. If, for any reason, you don’t receive your monthly installment, please email us at hello@thecozydispatch.com and we’ll send a replacement right away. Sometimes letters bounce back to us. We usually wait until the end of the month to allow time for any returns, then resend them to you. A note on timing: If you sign up before the 15th of the month, you’ll receive that month’s letter. If you sign up after the 15th, your first letter will arrive the following month.
What if I need to cancel or change my address?
We understand! Just email us at hello@thecozydispatch.com and we will cancel your subscription or change your address if need be! Make sure to email us before the 15th of the month so we can adjust your address or subscription before the next dispatch goes out!
